INSCRIBED to, "Adrian Iselin with compliments of the author, Feb. 1901" (Iselin was a prominent New York businessman and a trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a member of the Order of the Knights of Malta. the Knickerbocker Club.the New York Yacht Club, the Larchmont Yacht Club, the New Rochelle Yacht Club. etc) Black cloth has light general wear, with spot of dampness at spine end, that has left small stain on end-papers and on some pages. Pencil notation regarding ownership.
