Doyle, A. Conan The first appearance of this Sherlock Holmes story, later published in the Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes as the fourth story in the collection. Good in worn and stained wrappers. A fragile item that has survived almost 130 years. This is the separate issue of the Strand, from March, 1893.
Aardema, Verna A stunning, fine first edition (First Printing stated on the copyright page) in a pure fine dust jacket, with the original price still on the front flap. Winner of the 1976 Caldecott Medal, but no mention of the medal on the book or dust jacket. A very rare Caldecott Medal winner in the first printing in any condition, and this copy is flawless.
Rowling, J. K. A near fine first edition, first printing with the complete row of numbers to 1 on the copyright page, in a near fine price-clipped dust jacket with the first issue "Guardian" blurb on the back panel. First trade edition covers, with full name at top of red cloth spine, purple diamond design on boards and dark green endpapers.
Fitzgerald, F. Scott A very good first edition with all first issue points present. Scribners seal on copyright page. Housed in a custom-made collector's slipcase. A few minor stains on front endpapers. Covers clean but gilt lettering on spine is dulled, as usual.
