This a PRESENTATION COPY is warmly signed & inscribed to bookseller, Bert Babcock. Also laid in is an enjoyable 1.5 page handwritten letter by the author, as well as a brief typed letter signed with its original mailing envelope. The handwritten letter mentions his first novel THE WHOREHOUSE and mentions challenges with getting its sequel published due to the publisher. He refers to his first novel as a "scatalogical" work, and humorously mentions his worry over the reaction to it by Miriam Patchen (Kenneth Patchen's wife) and his mom.
