TACITE [Publius Cornelius TACITUS] 12mo. TEXT IN FRENCH. Old hand-written inscription in ink stating "Taken out of the Empress Josephine's Library at Malmaison when the Allied armies entered Paris in 1815" to verso of ffep. Some black marks to upper board (please see photos). Overall a VERY GOOD, HANDSOME COPY.
