THE JUNIOR SPECTATOR December 15th, 1902. Vol. 1. No. 1.

First edition. Stapled wrappers. An early and remarkable endeavor by Douglas McMurtrie, who at merely 14 years of age, assumed the role of business manager for this magazine at the Horace Mann School, edited by Morris Ernst. A significant precursor to McMurtrie's later monumental contributions to the field of printing and typography. A fascinating glimpse into the early development of a key figure in printing history. PLEASE NOTE that all our First Editions are also First Printings, unless we specifically note otherwise. All our dust jackets are protected in clear mylar covers. Good. The stapled pages have separated and are now loose. Front cover is tape-repaired, and rear cover is chipped with tears. Scarce in any condition.
