Binding somewhat rubbed some light scattered foxing, bookplate, a few pencil margin checks; generally VG+ condition. A couple leaves appear to have not been bound in; the Poe contributions are all complete. This volume contans ten hand colored plates. Also included are 11 poems and stories by Edgar Allan Poe. These include the stories The Colloquy of Monos and Una; Never Bet Your Head; A Chapter on Autography (in three installments; A Few Words Abou Brainard; Life In Death; The Mask of the Red Death; and the poems To Helen; Israfel and To One Departed. Many of these contributions almost certainly represent their first appearances in print.
