The bookplate is that of Ome and Matie Daiber. Ome Daiber was a noted Seattle mountaineer, inventor, hiker and specialist in mountain rescue missions. This book features cartoon illustrations that appeared in the Seattle magazine. "The object of this book is to present the fads and idiosyncrasies of the leading business and professional men of Seattle in a way that will amuse, and not offend."
