Unpaginated but approximately 74 pages. Spiral bound with overlapping tri-fold printed stiff cardboard binding. Contains tipped-in glassine and manila envelopes with printed inserts, accordian-style fold-out illustrations, etc. Contains color reproductions of posters, and black and white reproductions of etchings. Finely printed. Limited to 300 copies, this printing follows the first printing of 1998 (of 750 copies). This was published for the exhibition of Istvan Orosz at the Art Centre Silkeborg Spa that was held March 4-April 2, 2000. Measures 228mm x 195mm (height). Apparently issued in a cardboard slipcase, which is not present here. Second printing.

Dreiser, Theodore [iv], 780 pages of text. Original blue oatmeal cloth binding with minimal shelfwear, and minor discoloration to the gutters of the exterior hinges. The original dustjacket is moderately rubbed at the extremities with minor loss, a clean 2-inch tear along the rear hinge, tape reinforcement to the verso, and is overall moderately soiled. Previous owner's bookplate neatly affixed to the inside front cover. The text is clean and unmarked. One side flap remains unglued to allow for refilling. These newsprint items are meant to fade and ultimately disintegrate. It is the artist's intention to comment on the fact that we learn very little from history and are forced to repeat the same mistakes; that advertisements for five hundred dollar shoes sit cheek by jowl with news of the latest disasters; that all items, in any language, seem to carry the same weight, and that they are all, in a sense, disposable." Measures approximately 6.25" x 3.75" x 2". Top cut open previously held together with a (now cut) piece of clear tape. MAKE IT BIGGER.
