It is the artist's intention to comment on the fact that we learn very little from history and are forced to repeat the same mistakes; that advertisements for five hundred dollar shoes sit cheek by jowl with news of the latest disasters; that all items, in any language, seem to carry the same weight, and that they are all, in a sense, disposable."
