Cyclorama of the Battle of Gettysburg (At Boston)

22.6x15 cm. Printed wrappers, spine splitting. Worn, with corners turned and wrappers loose. 36 pp., folding key to the Cyclorama. This was the program and guide for visitors to the Boston edition of Paul Philippoteaux's grand cyclorama of the Battle of Gettysburg. Housed in Boston on the Moody and Sankey Tabernacle Site, on Tremont Street between Berkeley and Clarendon Streets, the panorama was 450 feet long and 50 feet wide. It depicted many scenes and events of the battle. The other examples of the cyclorama were displayed in New York, Brooklyn and Chicago. OCLC 80039872.
