First edition. Octavo, pp 315 + four pages publisher's ads at rear. Folding map of Kashmir and illustrated with photographic plates. Bound in grey cloth covered hard boards. Cecil Tyndale-Biscoe (1863-1949) was a British missionary and educationalist who lived and worked in Kashmir for many years, founding and running Tyndale-Biscoe School. Here he writes about his experiences in Kashmir and about the people and the region. In Very Good condition, very occasional scattered spotting, small p.o. name to the ffep dated May 1922, binding tight and book is square.
