Cecil Tyndale-Biscoe (1863-1949) was a British missionary and educationalist who lived and worked in Kashmir for many years, founding and running Tyndale-Biscoe School. Here he writes about his experiences in Kashmir and about the people and the region. In Very Good condition, very occasional scattered spotting, small p.o. name to the ffep dated May 1922, binding tight and book is square.

She first wrote of her experiences in service to Cixi in 1911 in Two Years in the Forbidden City. Here she describes further of her experiences during that time.- $65

Cecil Earl Tyndale-Biscoe (1863-1949) was a British missionary and educationalist who founded the Tyndale-Biscoe school in Kashmir. There is a small p.o. name to the top corner of the ffep, otherwise the book is in Fine condition; jacket is Near Fine, slight rubbing at spine ends and a tiny chip at the top of the front turn-in. A lovely copy, scarce in this condition.- $50
