Original Vintage Poster Your Britain Fight For It Now Rehousing WWII Abram Games

Original vintage World War Two poster - Your Britain Fight For It Now - featuring a great design by the notable British graphic designer Abram Games (Abraham Gamse; 1914-1996) depicting a dark illustration of a bombed out street in ruins with a damaged light and windows on the walls, a cobblestone road and an old ripped health poster advertising - Carbol disinfectant kills fleas bus midges rats - at the end of the ruined brickwork with a bright image behind showing the future housing accommodation of a new modern block of flats next to a tree against a blue sky background, the title text above and below, and information on the side - Clean, airy and well planned dwellings make a great contribution to the Rehousing movement. This is a fine example of a block of workers' flats built in London in 1936. Issued by A.B.C.A. Army Bureau of Current Affairs formed in 1941 to promote education and training during WWII and the post-war reconstruction period. Printed in England by Multi Machine Plates Ltd London. Horizontal.
