Lesy has collected and arranged photographs taken between 1890 and 1910 by a Black River Falls photographer, Charles Van Schaik and added a commentary giving the viewer a fascinating glimpse of life in the midwest at the turn of the twentieth century.Cited in Roth 101; Parr & Badger II, 217; Open Book, 292.
